Appetizers
Appetizers are small, savory dishes or snacks served before a meal to stimulate the appetite. At parties, appetizers are ideal to serve before the main dinner so that your guests don't get hungry (or hangry) as they socialize and wait. Appetizers come in various forms, such as finger foods, dips, soups, grazing platters, or small portions of a larger dish, and they can range from simple to complex in terms of preparation and presentation.
Some of my favorite appetizers to serve are a cream cheese board, mussels in red wine sauce, roasted bone marrow, and risotto.
