Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and wait for it to become shiny (about 2 minutes).
When the olive oil is shiny, add the sliced onions and green peppers and saute 3-4 minutes or until soft. Remove from the pan and set veggies aside.
To the same pan, ddd the shaved beef, salt, pepper and ½ teaspoon garlic powder and stir continuously until browned (about 5 minutes) and set aside.
Use a serrated knife to cut your dinner rolls horizontally keeping them all connected. (Think of this as one giant sandwich bun).
Place the bottom half of the dinner rolls in a 9×13 casserole dish and layer your meat, peppers and onions and the cheese.
Place the top of the rolls on top and set aside while you make your butter sauce.
In a small bowl combine the melted butter, the remaining garlic powder, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes Brush the top of your dinner rolls with the butter.
Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the tops of the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

Storage of LeftoversPhilly cheesesteak sliders can be stored in an airtight container or resealable bag in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. If you won’t be able to eat your leftovers in time, wrap them in foil and then place them in a resealable bag to prevent freezer burn. Your sliders will stay fresh for up to 3 months in the freezer. To reheat, allow the sliders to defrost in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or 30 minutes on the countertop. Individual sliders can be microwaved 1-2 minutes or placed on a baking sheet in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes.Make Ahead & FreezeThese Philly cheesesteak sliders are a great make ahead, freezer prep meal. Make them according to the directions and allow them to cool completely on the counter (no longer than 2 hours). Remove them from the baking dish and wrap in plastic wrap and then foil and keep them in the freezer for up to 3 months. Always make sure to label your foil with the contents and date when freezer prepping to make it easy to decipher what is in your freezer. When you’re ready to eat, allow the sandwiches to defrost and bake them in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes.
