Warm Vanilla Custard Milk Drink

This warm, nutrient-dense drink is how I both start and end my day. Best of all it tastes great for adults and children alike. It is also very quick and simple to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon OR whatever spice or spice blend you prefer nutmeg, pumpkin spice, cardamom etc.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Honey to taste start with 1 teaspoon
  • 1 tablespoon collagen optional

Instructions

  • Over medium heat, warm up the milk in a medium saucepan, making sure it does not boil.
  • Once hot, pour the hot or warm milk into a blender.
  • Add spices and other ingredients (excluding the egg)
  • Turn the blender on.
  • With the blender running add your egg and yolk, turn it up to medium (if possible) and let run for 30 seconds.
  • Pour milk through fine mesh colander into mug and serve.
