1 cup pumpkin puree 1 tablespoon maple syrup 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice homemade preffered, see notes 2 rectangular pie crusts or phyllo dough or 1 can crescent roll dough ¼ cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 375
Mix pumpkin, syrup, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth in a medium bowl.
Roll out your dough into two rectangles
Press it together to close the seams
Spread the pumpkin mixture over the top of one rectangle.
Top with the second half of the dough.
Cut into strips
Twist the strips and pinch closed on both ends.
Brush with melted butter
Mix cinnamon and sugar together, then sprinkle over the twists.
Bake for 10-12 minutes
Serve with a cream cheese frosting dip and enjoy.
