Raw Kefir Smoothie With Berries, Collagen & Egg Yolks

A raw milk Kefir smoothie. Kefir is a fermented probiotic raw milk beverage. Here it is blended with berries, collagen, raw egg yolks, and creamed coconut to make for a nutrient-dense start to the day.

This recipe makes just over 500 ml or half a litre of smoothie for 1 person.

Feel free to halve it or increase it as you wish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups raw kefir, preferably made from raw whole fat milk
  • 2 raw egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons collagen powder
  • 1 tablespoon creamed coconut 
  • 1 cup of mixed berries or other fruits. I like to use any combination that is currently available. This photo contains: strawberry, banana, blackberry, and mango.
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all of your ingredients except for the egg yolks into a blender.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. Add your egg yolks and process again until incorporated.
