Hot Spiced Milk + Collagen (Bulletproof Milk?)

A perfect winter drink to warm you up or a great replacement for your morning coffee. Real milk is gently heated up and spiced with cinnamon, freshly grated nutmeg, cardamon, and vanilla before being whisked or blended into a creamy froth with collagen, coconut oil, grass-fed butter, and an egg yolk.




  1. In a sauce pan, set the heat to medium-high and pour in your milk.
  2. Add the cinnamon (to taste), the vanilla and hazelnut extracts, the cardamon pod, a small pinch of sea salt, the nutmeg — grated with a microplaner and to taste.
  3. Add the coconut oil, butter, and collagen.
  4. Whisk briskly until just before boiling (about 5 minutes)
  5. Then, either remove from heat, discard the cardamon pod, and whisk in the honey, 1-2 raw egg yolks
  6. Or pour contents into a blender (having discarded the cardamon pod) and blend on medium for 10-15 seconds, adding in the honey and raw egg yolk.
  7. Serve immediately. A fresh sprinkling of cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or dark cghocolate is a nice presentation, as is a cinnamon stick.
